Yes. Every tool on this site is free to use, with no signup, no watermark and no subscription.
Why does ScoreUs offer a free PDF editor?
ScoreUs makes business software, such as ScoreUs Procurement Governance, ScoreUs Gage and ScoreUs Office Presence. The free PDF editor is our way of introducing people to ScoreUs. It stays free, and you don't need to sign up for anything to use it.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is processed by your browser on your own device. The file is not sent to ScoreUs or to anyone else.
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
Yes. Choose Edit text, click a line and type. The editor keeps the line's font, size and colour as closely as it can.
Can I edit scanned PDFs?
Yes. A scanned page is a picture of text, so first choose OCR… on the toolbar to recognize its words. The recognized lines can then be edited like any other text. Recognition runs in your browser; the first time, it downloads a few megabytes of language data from this site.
Which browsers are supported?
ScoreUs PDF is built for current desktop browsers such as Chrome and Edge. It needs a browser with WebAssembly and JavaScript turned on.
Can I open password-protected PDFs?
Yes. If a PDF needs a password, the editor asks for it. The password is only used on your device.
